SMU Embrey Human Rights Trip to Poland
Due to the overwhelming emotion that can be stricken with the information observed in the mentioned trip, I have chosen to only highlight one of the ten videos available from my trip to Poland with SMU during the Winter Break of 2016, from December 18th to the 31st.
This was an educational tour over the devastation from WWII, where we visited concentration camps and Jewish “ghettos” in remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust, and to learn more than what is popularly known in American. (It was quite shocking, really.)
The coverage I was able to obtain was with respectful permission of each tour guide, but not a planned production with time to coordinate proper audio and ideal lighting for visual effect. However, it is in-the-field documentation of the history of the Polish people, and done out of passion and memorialization of the victims lost.
